Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching was born March 28th 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion capture and voice work was also performed for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. While in her youth, she competed in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching's acting career started with an appearance as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March 2007 until November 2007, she had her main character Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. She also appeared in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24 Wersching guest starred on various shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). 2014 saw her become a regular series character on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that premiered on the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
