Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy, born November 25 in 1968 is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is best known for her roles in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She was also a part of films like RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The latter was also directed and written by her. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father, was a marketing and meat sales and marketing executive. The job required significant travel and meant that the family moved frequently. Maxine was her mother. She was a secretary. Her daughter was abandoned by Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister. She is a journalist from Canada and host. Hennessy is of Irish as well as French, Swedish, Italian, and Swedish roots from her father. predominantly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy along with her sister and her first role on stage was as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. She was not selected for the role of Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who eventually got the role.She appeared in Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.
