Renee Kathleen Zellweger
Renee Kathleen Zellweger, was born in
Katy, Texas on April 25 the year 1969. Her mother Kjellfrid (Andreassen) is a
former nurse and midwife born in Norway. Kven (Finnish), in addition to being
of Swedish and Norwegian descent. Emil Erich Zellweger is her father. He is a
Swiss engineer. They were married in 1963. Renee is a sister to a brother
called Drew Zellweger, a marketing executive who was born on February 15 the
15th of February, 1967. Renee was part of the drama club at high school and
began to be interested in acting. She enrolled in an acting class at University
of Texas (Austin) and started to think about acting as a career. She wanted to
be an actor after graduation, but Hollywood is not easy to enter. Renee decided
not to leave Texas and auditioned in Houston to be cast in roles. Matthew
McConaughey (another Hollywood rising star) was her close friend when she was
working on the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre II: The Next Generation (1994).
Renee observed him on a project which caught her attention. She was a part-time
auditioner and was offered the role in Love and A.45 (1994). It was a success
that earned her the critical praise to decide to move to Los Angeles. Her
breakthrough came from another film role in The Whole Wide World (1996). Cameron
Crowe was busy with casting Jerry Maguire (1996) with Tom Cruise. Crowe was
thinking about actresses like Bridget Fonda (Camden Diaz), Winona Ryder (Winona
Ryder), and Marisa Tomei when he discovered Zellweger's performance on The
Whole Wide World (1996). He attended an audition with Zellweger and was
confident that he'd found the perfect Dorothy Boyd. After following her success
in a couple of independent films, Renee felt confident enough for her return to
the large-budget Hollywood film industry. Meryl Streep was a co-star in One
True Thing (1998). She also starred alongside Jim Carrey in Me, Myself
& Irene (2000) and began to date Carrey within a short time. Bridget
