Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. Her first professional work was with television and film
productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks”
(1986). Later, she was the producer of such projects as Double Dare (1976). She
has also appeared in TV shows such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood
Story (1996) and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (2001). Her most popular role was
for her performance in "Christine Sullivan" as who was a Night Court
star (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she played in 156 episodes. Marylee
(Armstrong) Post was her mother. She was a poet and noted nuclear scientist
Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918-April 7, 2015). Alongside her second
husband Michael A. Ross, she had two children: Katie Ross (born June 26 June
26, 1986) and Daisy Ross (30 March 1990). Born in Palo Alto, California and
raised in Walnut Creek. She was a cheerleader at Las Lomas High School in
Walnut Creek, California. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon
awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a trickroper in The Wildest West
Show of the Stars (1986). Her ashes were returned home to Michael A. Ross, her
husband. She was a long-time Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months away
from her 71st birthday on the 4th of November, 2021, died on the 7th of August.
She was 27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) and her co-star who
passed away on July 11 2021. Though they were two completely different shows,
Night Court (1984), which she played was cancelled in 1992, with Christine
Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) the show, in which Post
played a new role Georgie lahti (who was, in fact, previously worked in
Washington DC before moving to a smaller area) was released in 1992.
