Rose McGowan

"Rose", born on the 5th of September 1973, is an American actress.
Her film debut was a short role in the comedy Encino Man (1992), McGowan
achieved wider recognition for her performance in the dark comedy The Doom Generation
(1995) and received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut
Performance. Her breakout role came in the horror film Scream in the year 1996.
She then headlined the films Jawbreaker (1999) and Devil in the Flesh (2000).
In the early 2000s, McGowan became known to television audiences for her role
as Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural drama series Charmed (2001-2006). She
then appeared in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's double-feature film
Grindhouse (2007) for which she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best
Actress as well as the Scream Award for Best Scream Queen. Her debut album,
Planet 9, was released in the year of 2018. The album was followed by a new
version of Planet 9 in 2020. In 2017, Time honored McGowan as one of the
Silence Breakers, the magazine's Person of the Year because she spoke out about
sexual assault and harassment specifically with regard to the Harvey Weinstein
sexual abuse cases and the Me Too movement. Brave is her autobiography. Citizen
Rose was her documentary series. Both of these were released in the year 2018.
